Since 2007, BWEF has awarded over half a million dollars to BWRSD teachers and staff for imaginative, high quality projects that enhance students' educational experiences. BWEF has funded programs in every district school, this year funding more than $72,000 across 24 unique teacher-initiated ideas covering math, science, engineering, art, reading, geography, music, foreign language, nature exploration, history, problem solving, special education, and health education. Generous sponsorships from local and regional businesses have been instrumental in making this possible.
