Stacia Jackson

Stacia Jackson is serving her first year on the Board of the Bristol Warren Education Foundation but has been actively involved with BWEF since 2012, assisting the Grants committee as a community representative. She is the parent of two children in the district, and a resident of Bristol.

Stacia is a stay-at home Mom/Household Manager who taught science at Mount Hope High School for nine years. She attended the Warren Public School system grades K-12, graduating from Warren High School in 1991. Stacia received a BA in Biology from Brown University and, while working as a Research Assistant for Bradley Hospital, completed teacher certification coursework and received her M.A.T., then went on to complete the Masters in School Administration Program at Rhode Island College. After leaving her teaching position to care for her children, she served on the Board of Directors of the Bayside YMCA and was actively involved in the Capital Campaign and Financial Assistance program. In addition, she worked as an education consultant for Ideas Consulting in RI, developing professional development programs for teachers.

Stacia is a volunteer coach for the Bristol Youth Soccer Association and Team Manager of her daughter's Bayside FC soccer team. She has served on the Rockwell PTO and KMS School Improvement Team. Stacia loves watching and playing soccer, practicing Pilates, reading, playing games with friends and family, vacationing on Martha's Vineyard, and enjoying all the beauty this community has to offer with her family and her dog Smudge.
