Sheila Dobbyn joined BWEF in 2017 and is currently serving as Sponsorship Chair. Her work background is in the field of International Education, and she is currently home caring for her young daughter and supervising distance learning for both children.

Sheila sits on the Hugh Cole School Improvement Team and is an Advisory Board member for Thrive Outside. She has also enjoyed presenting cultural and creative writing workshops to Hugh Cole students as part of the After School Enrichment Program.

When time allows, Sheila writes children's poetry and short stories. Her writing has been published in Highlights and Ember magazines.
